With the release of their second album Short Leash, Pet Tigers have changed into a duo and toured the West Coast, Midwest and have been able to spread their love of music and performance to many. Based out of Las Vegas, NV, Lizzy Minx, Jeremy Keith and Angelica Santis are a Pop/Rock/Synth trio who love to have fun. Their influences include Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Cyndi Lauper, Phantogram, and No Doubt. As described by Geoff Carter in Vegas Seven Magazine, “There’s no pathos in Pet Tigers’ sound, only a sheer, giddy enthusiasm."
In addition to their West Coast and Midwest Tours their resume includes playing at Neon Reverb Music Festival, Summerfest Music Festival, Wine Amplified Music Festival, as well as opening slots for James Supercave, Party Baby, Great Big World, Warren G, Modern English, Missing Persons, and Bow Wow Wow. They had a feature on Fox5's Gibson Showroom series and were just recently on Downtown Podcast.
Ultimately, Pet Tigers is a band that shows love to its influences as quoted by Geoff Carter, “It’s the sound of a band that’s gone back to its core strength—it's uncanny, atavistic love of the new wave sound of the 1980s—and built something new and different upon it.”
